General Voss
“Let’s share the credit. I’ll take the portion with my name on it.”
Voss has the reassuring air of someone who knows a convenient way through the difficulty. The explanation is smooth, the smile restrained, and the benefit to Voss somehow arrives before the explanation ends. Cooperation sounds effortless when someone else supplies the effort. A difficult position brings out remarkable flexibility, particularly about obligations described with great firmness a moment earlier. Voss remains excellent company for anyone willing to inspect the offer before admiring the presentation.
