General Veyr
“The outcome is still catching up with my explanation.”
Veyr approaches every briefing as the final chapter of a book everyone else has yet to understand. The maps are immaculate, the conclusions assured, and the silver hair appears to have been arranged by a committee that accepts no dissent. An inconvenient result calls for a more impressive explanation. Somewhere beneath the lecture is a sharp mind, quietly hoping the next person to make a clever move will have the courtesy to be Veyr.
