You start as one small nation on a map of a hundred countries. Race nine rival nations to hold 72% of the land — build cities, factories and ports, then fight for the rest with armies, navies, air power and missiles. A match runs 15–25 minutes.
Runs instantly in your browser tab. No download, no account, no ads.
Statefall is free to play, with no ads — for now. Sign up during this founding period and you'll play ad-free for life, even after ads launch.
Claim your Founding Player status →Think Risk played live, with a navy. Every game boils down to the same five decisions — how well you time them is the whole game.
Left-click a bordering nation to attack with a share of your army. Neutrals don't fight back until you hit them — then they mobilise and counter-attack if you're spread thin.
Right-click your land for the build menu. Cities grow troops, factories and ports make gold, and supply lines between them add bonuses.
Own every tile of an island or continent for a one-time troop windfall and an ongoing growth bonus. Unifying your home landmass first is the classic opening.
Ports build transports and warships, airfields build fighters and bombers, silos launch missiles. Diplomacy — pacts, alliances, aid — shapes who you're fighting.
Hold 72% of the land — or your team's combined land. A nation whose army hits zero collapses outright.
Deep enough to reward strategy — closer to a compact Civilization than a mobile clicker — but short enough for one sitting.
13 buildings, 8 ship classes, 3 aircraft, submarines and missiles. It's a lot on paper; in play, it's legible — everything happens on one map you can zoom from the whole world down to individual tiles.
Difficulty is behaviour, not just a multiplier — Hard bots manage their economy and gang up on a runaway leader; Impossible does all of it, faster.
Troops live where they are. Every contiguous area of your land has its own garrison — water and rivers separate them, and reinforcing across water means a transport that can be sunk. A rich homeland no longer protects a thin beachhead.
Density, pushback and betrayal all read the local garrison. Garrisons has its own How-to-play tab and its own leaderboard class — a genuinely different way to play the same map.
Begin with a large holding, 4× troops, 5× gold.
Nobody starts with land — everyone drafts neutral countries round-robin.
The whole map already divided, everyone at 45,000 troops.
Troops, buildings, ships and missiles hidden outside your vision.
No construction timers (shields and upgrades excepted).
Start with a billion troops and a billion gold.
2, 3 or 4 permanent teams — a team wins together.
From Super easy to Impossible, each with genuinely different bot behaviour.
Every map ships with a shareable seed and 74 real-nation flags to pick from.
Result, country, map, difficulty, time, land held, nations eliminated, peak troops — every finished (or abandoned) match is recorded. Standard, Garrisons, Quick start, End game, Billionaire and every combination gets its own board.
